In a comment to an earlier post, I used the phrase: "I'm shocked, shocked."
Does anyone know which classic movie that phrase comes from?

Hmm, give up? The phrase "I'm shocked, shocked" comes from the 1942 movie Casablanca, starring Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman. According to Wikipedia, Casablanca consistently ranks "near the top of lists of the greatest films of all time." Click here for the full quote in context (search the page for "shocked"...it's about 2/3 of the way down the page).
